Day 35 – June 23, 2025 – Foiano, Italy
Slow picture day, just saying, lol!!!!!!
John and I walked into town this morning for our usual coffee/pastry, and it was hopping. On Monday’s there is a market in the ZTL area where vendors put out clothes, food, etc. for the morning. We had our drinks and food and then headed back as Vance, Michelle, Kevin and Kristin were due around 11:30.
Everyone got in safely and an inventory was taken of food and drink and what would be needed from the store; all went but Michelle and I. They planned on stopping at Fierli to get some big steaks for dinner tonight. Michelle and I spent that time in the pool catching up and soaking up some sun.
Everyone returned and we determined what was going to be made with the steaks, got some prepping down then relaxed until it was time for the guys to start up the grill. We enjoyed a wonderful steak dinner with roasted potatoes, mushrooms and garlic sauteed together and fresh green beans. It was a feast! By the time we were done cleaning up, it was getting late for everyone, so we packed it in for the night.
Tomorrow, we have a winery tour and tasting in Lucignano at Agricola Fabbriche Palma. We also have a chef coming in to prepare a special dinner for my birthday, even though it’s two days early. I got to pick the menu out and I think it’s going to be good! Another great day in Tuscany – ciao!
