Day 26 – June 14, 2025 – Foiano, Italy
This morning was a leisurely morning as we had nothing planned today. We thought about walking into town for our café/cappuccino, but knowing it was Saturday and be busy, we decided not to.
After breakfast we did go to the grocery store for supplies and then I got laundry done. It was a “do nothing” day which gave us both time to catch up on work and the blog. We did spend some time in the pool for a while and then had our wine o’clock drinks around 5 pm.
For dinner, John cooked chicken thighs, zucchini and some orzo. We played a few rounds of Rummikub and called it a night.
Tomorrow Catherine and Scott will be coming up for a few days, so we are looking forward to that. We will also have our monthly “clipper cocktails” get together with Marguerite and Joe. We chose a limoncello spritz for drink choice.
