Day 10 – May 28, 2024 – Sedona to Williams, AZ
We got packed up and headed out about 11 a.m. this morning to Williams where our next BNB is. We stopped in Flagstaff for a bite to eat at Mother Road Brewing Company and had a beer and some sliders. We sat outside as it was another nice, sunny day and enjoyed the fresh air.
We followed along the old Route 66 for awhile until we ended in up Williams and stopped at the store for some supplies before heading to our BNB. It’s about a 20-minute drive from downtown Williams, which is a very small town, so we were glad we got what we needed and avoided having to come back to town again.
Our AirBNB is out in the middle of nowhere, but it is a beautiful place and it’s only a 30-minute drive to the Grand Canyon Park. We checked out places within the park, but they were stupid expensive, and we wouldn’t have been able to cook, so we were happy with this place. We got everything unloaded/unpacked and sat on the front porch with a glass of wine before getting dinner ready. Tonight is grilled pork chops, roasted potatoes and onions, and sauteed broccoli. We sat outside for dinner and then afterwards as they weather was perfect.
Tomorrow is a “check out everything around us” day, but I’m sure we’ll get some hiking in somewhere. Nite all!
